The ShorePort supports up to 1150lb and is 58" W and 138" L.
If the fueled up PWC falls within those specs, the ShorePort fails to stay afloat, it may taking on water.
If the PWC is over 1150lbs, you may add supplemental flotation up to 1450lbs.
Each additional float, (up to 6,) increases capacity by 50lb.
That part number, per 50lbs buoyancy, are as follows:
If the latter, you will first need to determine the source of the leak, (seam, connectors attachment, etc.)
You will then likely need to remove the port/section and drain the water.
First, the leak will need to be determined.
*Tips for locating the leak:
- Sometimes, while still in the water, you may look for bubbles in the surrounding water, indicating the leak. If not-
- Remove the Port/section from the water. Use a spray bottle filled with a dish soap/water solution to spray until soapy bubbles are noticed, identifying the leak.
If needed, you may add 3-4lbs, (no more than 5lbs) of pressure to the Port to identify the leak. This may also help drain the leak.
*Tips for draining:
- You may remove the small hydrohobic vent plug in the front to drain:
