Boat Lift Boss Replacement and Repair Process (2+ Years)

This process is for the replacement or repaid of Boat Lift Boss lift motors, it is applicable to all Boat Lift Boss purchases whose proof of purchase is greater than 2 years old. For warranty coverage of purchases with a proof of purchase within the last two years please see the

Replacement and Repair Process (summarized)
1. Customer should call Boat Lift Boss at 651-357-1862 to complete Replacement/Repair Request Form
2. Boat Lift Boss, over the phone, will ask for necessary information and complete form
3. Boat Lift Boss will email form to Customer
4. Customer should ship Request Form and Current Lift Motor to Boat Lift Boss
5. Upon receipt Boat Lift Boss will process request and replace/repair as allows and applicable

* Dealers/Customer needs to keep their mounting kit, a new mounting kit will not be provided with the replacement motor. 

**ShoreMaster, LLC (Shore Shack) does not provide additional replacement or repair coverage, all claims on Boat Lift Boss must be handle by the customer with Boat Lift Boss/Extreme Max who manufactures this product



Replacement and Repair Process (expanded)
The Boat Lift Boss Repair Procedure is in place to expedite the service and repair for out-of warranty Boat Lift Boss units. All non-warranty repairs carry a 2-4 week lead-time. Customers are responsible for freight costs incurred shipping the unit to Extreme Max. Extreme Max will return the repaired unit free of charge.

The following items are required for repair/service processing:
  1. Boat Lift Boss Repair Program Form (completed by call Boat Lift Boss at 651-357-1862)
  2. Boat Lift Boss Unit needing service

Forms are to be placed in the same box as the Boat Lift Boss unit being shipped. Forms not properly filled out or missing may cause the unit to be issued as “return to sender” or a $50 charge may be assessed for processing any incomplete or missing forms. All forms must contain a detailed description of the issue needing service.

General service / repair costs are included in the attached Repair Program Form.
